Welcome to our beautiful place in Shirley, on Vancouver Island and in Cheslatta, on the Southside of Francois Lake BC.
Our tree’d place in Shirley lies 1 kilometre up hill from the Juan de Fuca Strait, mild winter weather prevails with summer warm and a cool ocean breeze. Our place in Cheslatta consists of rolling, partially tree’d hills where the winter is much colder and the summers a lot dryer at 900 meters of altitude.
We are breeding Morgans for the beautiful, gentle yet very willing to work type of horses they are. Breeding broodmares is only done at a minimum of every other year, if that, and if a broodmare is not ready she’ll just have to wait another year. We do not wean off foals at the age of 6 months but rather follow the herd setting and have the mare wean her foal off.
The training direction of our Morgans will be performance and dressage, therefore we purchased the specific type of Morgans to full fill that goal. Many thank's go out to Branka’s Morgans, Raspberry Field Morgans and TVR Thundering Valley Ranch Morgans for allowing us to purchase the necessary Morgans to put together a responsible breeding program.
